Silver Glider

Silver Glider

A Poem by Ezekiel Silver

"

A symbol of old wisdom and insight,

         racing through the star's road.

As swift and silent as the wind,

yet as fierce as the strong waves.

Clawed talons are her sharpened swords,

         breaking through nature's shields.

With shining feathers reflected by the moon,

         acting as her armor.

This is the ghost-like owl warrior of the night,

         a silver glider.
