Prince of Poseidon

Prince of Poseidon

A Poem by Ezekiel Silver
"

Year poem was written: 2014

"

A royal guardian of the dark depths,

         governing over untamed secrets.

His throne is placed on the acquatic plains,

surrounded by a palace of coral reefs.

Neglective of the distant and dry earthlands,

         only wanting the free waves.

The witness of sailors passing by his domain,

         merely glimpsing upon our world.

A wild and wayward lord of an ancient court,

         the prince of poseidon.
