Toxic MelancholyA Poem by Ezekiel SilverYear poem was published: 2014
A pain so great and tumultuous,
life becomes a blur of tears. Depression holds a tight cold grip, choking out the pale soul. The cursed life of a feeble heart, too traumatic to endure. Madness drowns the pure mind, numbing the humanity away. A longing for death to finally come, to bring forth relief. The only true cure for an ancient poison, toxic melancholy.
