Hollow AshA Poem by Ezekiel SilverYear poem was written: 2013Remnants of decay fall down, like gentle grey snow. Footprints of sorrow and despair, act as the legacy of purgatory.
Nothing but eerie silence remains, for the hymns of life have ended. Old smoke surrounds the wretched air, forming it's pungent smell.
The dreary flakes of dead fire pile on, burying all the charred bones. Until the plains of death become fertile with, the soil of hollow ash.
