A Mountain Huntress

A Mountain Huntress

A Poem by Ezekiel Silver
"

Year poem was written: 2013

"

A cunning predator of sharpened skill,

able to endure the steep cold.

Her strength comes from the fury of her heart,

shown in eyes of pure rage.

Forced to claw and slash for life,

            living off meager meals.

Nature thrusting her into a bitter arena,

            formed out of stone.

She possesses the savage ferocity of a true,

            mountain huntress.

I enjoyed the description in the poem. I like the use of the huntress and how she survived and must be. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

A beautiful flow of descriptive visualization combined with a flawless format. This piece is a fine example where less becomes more. Each word and line placed just so, so that the piece maintains a high level of energy and ability to project it's essense.
The vision I was given was that of a Mountain Lion.

Great Ink!

That's what I was actually thinking of when I was writing this, a mountain lion.
