The Journey of A Dream

      The journey of a dream is adventurous.

           It gives us great tales.

      A dream carries us toward freedom.

           It's like a vast ship with sails.

 

      The journey of a dream is wondrous.

           A dream brings us a break.

      It allows us to live in our fantasies.

           And gives us nothing to put at stake.

 

      The journey of a dream is miraculous.

           For a dream gives us our desires.

       It appears rather quite blissful.

           And feels like a cozy fire.

 

       The journey of a dream is like a protective rope.

           For it strengthens our heart's hope.

Author's Note

One of the few poems I wrote that involves rhyming.
