Scarlet Silk

Scarlet Silk

A Poem by Ezekiel Silver
"

Year poem was written: 2013

"

A cloth has been crudely stained,

         symbolizing agony.

Drenched in a deep dark red,

        never fading.

Pain formed into an act of salvation,

       grace proven in ultimate sacrifice.

My king thrown down unto Death,

       saving all who will die.

Sin will forever be severly crippled by,

       scarlet silk.
