The Chasm

The Chasm

A Poem by Ezekiel Silver
"

Year poem was written: 2013

"
      Darkness overwhelming all sight.
              Oblivion's domain.
A bottomless pit ravaged by pain.
              Filled with broken hearts.

Evil's reign is vast and unyielding here.
              Jealousy is the throne.
     Screams of agony are abundant.
              The tears are immortal.

A crevass sometimes called hell is also named,
                      the chasm.
