Earths composition



The earth is misunderstood
Just figured as a ball of dirt and hot rock
But I think of us and what we are
The comparison isn't so much afar

The earth is living and built as so too
Let me compare it to me and you:

The layers of rock of the earth
Act as the bone
Keeping up its usual shape
So we may still call it home

The grasses are the hair
Acting to protect the top layer similar to skin
Constantly growing and needing cut
But it grows not everywhere

The earth produces heat
Something we do to survive
And the molten core is a stomach
To digest and use whatever falls in

The waters are its blood
Flowing what it needs place to place
Also the waters create it
As we are made of much water ourselves

The bigger plants are such
Clean bad soil, water, and air
Much as an immune system
How with us it does take care

The earth holds and creates vitamins
Such as ourselves
It suffers all seasons with us
Even when it is hot enough to swell

It eats to maintain as we do
When an animal dies
Decomposition
Stores back what the earth has lost

Its constantly moving
As in waters flow and core burns
Just as we live
Until it's our turn

It has a mind just like us
God being the brain behind the thought
Giving it new idea to run
And spin all the same

And we are the heart of our planet
We make it live and keep the flow
Without us the earth isn't much
We decide its fate as such

So take in effect the way we are
It isn't too different by far
So just consider this a note
We're all in the same boat
