An acrostic poem
Of color Beautiful waters that rush Luminescent skies that blush Undertaking royal hues Entertaining a sapphire muse Radiant rubies glistening shine Ecstatic heart beating of mine Dressed petals on a rose that's fine Grass in a windy field Raging jealousy a person may wield Evergreen trees with pine cones Emeralds and the splendor it owns New growth of spring leaves Yellowness of a sunflower Eyes of a wolf in power Lemons that are sour Like the belly of those who cower Overview of the brilliant sun Willing life to live as one Oranges that grow on a tropical tree Raging flames that burn free A beak of a parakeet Nuisance traffic cones on the street Gorgeous tiger stripes on its side Ever falling sunset and all its pride Purple mountain majesty Under the brush, a violet I see Royal color of the king Purple is a calm thing Large galaxy view in space Eggplant color in any case Without any other color Holiness of a pure another Incandescent light bulb fix Trains of clouds to blow by Especially when the wind gives a sigh Blazing dark of a storm Lonely feelings of scorn Ashes of a deceased fire Cloak of a midnight flyer Kissed with every color © 2009 Eyudo |
