Running ramped
Raging free
Letting out
The beast in me

Hunted down
But I see
I’m watching them
They’re not watching me

Hiding in day
Chasing in night
Do I look scary?
Am I a fright?

No way to tame
But I feel no shame
I beg and pleas
To control the beast in me

Will she come along?
See through the eyes?
Will she come along?
And cure my disguise?

Sooth the beast
And tame the soul
Sing the song
That causes me to lull

This is the beast in me
No more I can be

Hungered and blood thirsty

Now all can’t you see?
This darker side of me?
