i wont leave

i wont leave

A Poem by Eyudo

I won’t leave
(Female speaking to male)

I find myself in this abyss
Just you and I
We’re holding each others wrists
Staring in our eyes

You talk about us
And these doors, those doors!
You ask for my decision
About our division

You say the left door
Though nice and antique
Could easily deceive
But you give me my relief

You say the door on the right
Though cold and rusted metal too
Could maybe lead to and ending fight
But so you know, I love you

You want me to stay
And I want you to know
Wherever, which way
I’ll never let you go

I thought about the door on the right
Then the one to the left
I though about us staying here
In yet…..

You made me all these promises
But will them all you keep?
Though if we parted I would miss
And it may us separate and thoughts seep

And so I have decided in this not so lonely abyss
Nothing will divide us
I won’t leave
Now come here and give me a kiss
