We had won, now we had to collect our prize, at least, if he would give it to us without too much of a fight. “NO!” Urdewag said in the deepest voice I had ever heard. I guess that was our signal he wouldn’t give it to us so easy even though we had won it fair from him.
“The forest had never helped us and suddenly it helped you? That not fair! We’ve been here longer than you humans! I refuse to give you the prize! You go no further!” He snarled and drooled a little in his new larger and more gruesome form.
“But we won it fair and square! You owe it to us! We want our prize!” Amanda yelled. “Or else what is a little human girl like you gonna do? You have no powers or anything like that to stop us.” Urdewag said in a snooty way. “There’s the phrase I was waiting to hear for this,” a voice said from the skies, “ she does have them now.” the voice said, and then Amanda was zapped with a direct hit of streak lightning.
Amanda smiled and then knew she could do whatever now, she didn’t care for an explanation as long as she had some mystical abilities. So she tested them on Urdewag. She dropped out of the skies a few machine gun wielding zombies. But instead of just having the zombies shoot them, she turned the goblins all into tiny goblin bullets and loaded the gun with them. That was weird and creative. Then the zombies shot the goblin bullets far away and we never saw them land. That was easier than I could have hoped.
We all of course turned to Jennifer after Amanda melted the zombie away for an explanation. “Um…Amandus Ellis” she said, “Bj’s ancestors wife…yeah…” we still didn’t get it, but it didn’t really matter though, she had them. Though it was weird she would get them too there was no arguing with it and no really changing it either. Oh well. “It must be the same as Bj I suppose. Just luck of timing I guess.” she finished.
After she finished her explanation I thought I heard a sort of whistling, like when something is falling from the sky the noise you hear as it falls. I looked around to see if I could find where it was coming from and saw it when I looked up. I saw something shine as it fell. It was only when it reached closer to the ground I was able to identify what it truly was.
At glance it looked like a large golden key falling from the sky. It fell and I stepped back to avoid being hit by it. It fell to the ground and sunk an inch or two into the soft forest ground. Every one jumped since they didn’t know it was falling but me. I picked it up and examined it. The side read it as a three pound golden key. Wow.
“It’s a three pound pure golden key. This must be our prize I bet. We are getting it after all!” I exclaimed. “But what does it open?” Christina asked. “It could open anything in the entire…..” Amanda said, but was interrupted before she could finish. “A treasure chest of power….” Jennifer said almost to herself in deep thought. Amanda rolled her eyes; she was sick of being interrupted and sounding stupid when Jennifer knew things she didn’t.
“We got the key to a chest of power so that Rob couldn’t…..this is very good!” Jennifer exclaimed. Though as usual there wasn’t much time to think about it or talk on it. Because every time we finished one big thing in our journey…something else came right away and always gives us no time to breathe. A little white rabbit hopped out looking a bit angered…though I thought nothing of it at first in a forest. Then a black rabbit came out and brutally attacked it and killed it…”oh crap…” Jennifer said, “we’re in trouble now…” Of course, that was never a good thing to say.
