The door of

The element creatures

We were in the concrete room, and not sure what to do next. We saw that our shoes were completely melted and totally rendered useless. We had to peel them off and throw them aside. That sucked, cause of the situation.

We went on, this time searching for a way out. All we knew was we were underground in some sort of concrete building. We easily found some way to go, especially since it was the only way we could go.

It was just a long hallway that started at a very wide status, and seemed to go on forever. We made our way down, just walking as much as we could. The hallway was dirty and musty with a terrible smell. Our feet had cuts and bruises from all the stones. Since we had to ditch our shoes, our feet were soar and red. The hallway had pebbles and small stones all over the floor and some were sharp. After so long, we grew tired and hungry. We were just beat from the journey. We barley even noticed the fact that the hallway was getting narrower and narrower by the minute. It started to squeeze us together.

I lifted my head from my slumping posture and saw that we were practically shoulder-to-shoulder. I lunged forward a bit, just so I could have some room. We made it so far in that we found the end, which made us extremely happy. No more walking!

At the very end of the hallway was a door. Not just any door. This was a special door, streaked with some sort of scriptures that not even my dad had ever seen before. It was a large, tombstone shape, pure titanium door. Besides the writings on it, it had some sort of drawing engraved into the middle of it. It looked like a horse on fire with a little person or something riding on it with large wings. I had absolutely no idea what the heck it was.

We all just stared at it. At first we were just reading and observing it, then after that, we were just staring at it. No one said a word about it, not even to each other. I did so finally break all the silence. “Do you guys think we should go into there?” I asked. “Um.....I don’t really know. It could be dangerous. I mean, look at those markings, I don’t know what they mean, and I don’t know if it’s a good thing.” my dad told me.

There was another moment of awkward silence, and then I broke tat once more. “Well, do we really don’t have much of a choice? We searched everywhere else and this is the only way we could find to go, isn’t it?” My dad nodded and Tj did so too. We knew that was the only way to go, so we knew we had to. There was one last moment of silence, and then we all nodded at each other.

We all moved in on the door and grabbed what ever we could to move it. It was heavy! All three of us struggled to slide it open even as much as we did. The thing barley even moved, but we just kept pushing and pushing. We managed to opened it just enough to slip through into the next room on. That was a tiring chore alone!

We took a single step into the room. It was pitch black, and the air was very dusty. Two things were bad in this room. One was the darkness of course, but the second was the door we passed through. We were only inches in front of it and it slowly slid shut by itself. A loud echoing boom filled the concrete room. “That must be an automatic shutting door. I think this room is an old bomb shelter, I mean, look at that titanium door, and the walls of concrete.” my dad said. It was reassuring, but I think he was a little too interested in that scary room.

We couldn’t see anything at all. We took another step forward into the room, I could feel a lot of stones on the ground and my feet were pained and it started to move up into my legs. I just wanted to go back home and rest. I don’t know why I was pulled into it, but I sure wished I hadn’t.

That’s when we saw it. It was some sort of flickering, dancing, orange and red light, like fire. It was moving around and had a white figure in the center of its flame. It started to rage for us a bit. We stepped back against the door and the thing jump back, and lowered itself downward.

Then, to our left, we could see another similar figure; only this one was a bright, exuberant, yellow colored figure. By then I was confused. They were Rowdy, but didn’t seem to want to attack us or anything. They just kept on doing whatever the heck they were doing. That’s when the small lights placed in the creases on the ceiling, flickered on and showed the true forms of the creature, or should I say creatures.

They weren’t very scary and seemed to pose as no threat to us at all. They were all different colors and really were awesome looking. They all were elemental faerie riders mounted on there elemental valiant horses. It was so awesome! I had never seen anything like it.

They all glanced at me and one of them said, “Are you Bj?” I just looked at them and nodded. “We’ve been waiting for your arrival. We have seen the prophecy of worlds end and our people foretell of the one who can help. You are the only one who can help. You have to kill the creature creator. Can you do that?” they asked me. I just looked at them in a daze. I mean, why did the world have to depend on me? I was thirteen! That really sucked.

I thought about it and then gave the only answer I could give. “I’ll do the best I can, sir. That’s all I really have to say. I’m not the best person for the job, but if you need me that bad, I’ll do what I can.” I told them. “We’re glad to here that. Now, is there anything we can do for you before you head off?” they asked us. Well, we are tired and very hungry. It there any way we might have something to eat?” I asked kindly. They only nodded and in front of us appeared a table of food. We dug in happy to see it all.

After our meal, we thanked all the fairy riders and had one last thing to ask them. “Which way do we go from here?” “Well.....down.” they said, and at that, they stopped there feet and the floor collapsed through on us. They waved as we fell through to who knew where. We heard them yell on last thing. “We’ll help you all we can on your journey!” Which now meant I was on a journey, not an adventure. Now we were off again to the next big event on our “journey.” I wondered what it was.
