SLIR poem: waiting for time

SLIR poem: waiting for time

A Poem by Eyudo
"

read to see

"

Sitting in peace

Affected in more than the least

But does it show?

Will anyone know?

And your…..

All alone

By the phone

Pain grown

Heart sown

Sad moan

Feel a heavy stone

Crushes bone

Stuck at home

Piercing tone

Makes you lone

Wait for time

Stand in line

Your last in prime

Not earn a dime

Never see the sign

Would it be fine?

Make your run

Far to the sun

Leave your gun

Not needed Hun

It’s not fun

Times a ton

Like a bad pun

Time waits for none

Things must be done

Times in your mitt

Just catch up to it

Not stops, never sit

Use your kit

Bit by bit

Then I swear it

Will stay lit

See how you fit

Then grasp its hit

Don’t let go

Or you’ll never know

What is so?

What does it stow?

What’s in its dough?

Fast or slow

Then where does it go?

Time on your side

Never let it slide

Always abide

After it died

Wait, for it arrived

Nevermore grave tied

Time is wild

Always in styled

Make it yours

Can’t be bought in a store

Control it

Not let it control you

Why wait for it?

It won’t wait for you

Waiting for time
