You Don't Even Know

I wrote this the same night as the blind and my sleepless rambling. not one of my best.

I've tried to stop my feelings for you

I really truely have

I know it makes you  uncomfortable

When I show you what I would give

 

You were with her once

A stupid mistake ruined your happiness

Your love for her is strong

It hasn't decayed at all

 

I've only know you a short while

We've been friends even less

Yet you tell me I'm one of your closest friends

Closer even then the friend you've known for years

 

You treat me like I'm more than that

I think maybe you don't even notice

You say the sweetest things to me

I know you don't realize you are

Which makes them even sweeter
