Dead endA Poem by Anne KorhonenA Christian poem about doubtThe road is shut but I have to restore my faith and gut to fight for my goals and dreams I pray God on my knees to drag down this brick wall but does He hear me at all? First I was standing tall but now I'm about to fall and stay on the ground unless a miracle will turn it around I told my fears for God in tears This is more than I can take A mistake after mistake Heartbreak after heartbreak Theft after theft It's such a pity I wonder what is left of my integrity when they got my little boy honey and my money A huge gap in me must be filled because such a huge part of me has been killed Feel something must happen soon beyond the stars and moon by theft God made me humble Prayers He made me mumble I realized He's trying to restore my insulted innocence so that I'd live like before hell broke loose at my door may I praise and burn some incense as God just answered my prayer At every end there's a new beginning when a loser starts winning He wants me to count my blessings like I count my money He wants me to stop worrying and guessing and just be happy with who I am and what I've got even when life gets crappy He knows I'm ready to tie the knot Copyright 2017.
