Divine Divide

Divine Divide

A Poem by EyesIceBlood

This might be the best poem I've written, and it's also one of my most-favourites. Nobody has yet figured out who it's about, but I'll hint they've got the media eating out of their hand.

"

Divine Divide

An animal of Earth

To deify and worship

One hellbound from birth

They see only dignity and praise

They cannot see it's sins

They only see pure white wings

Am I alone in seeing twins

One dark and one most bright

The bright one sleeps all day

The dark won't let it out

It spends it's time crying from the fray

The people outside running about

Pour some wine and drink bile

The dark is every bit as vile

And the dark one begins to smile

Now see the bright one dampen and fade

Still it goes back to where it was made

Where once was light now is shade

As the bright one to rest is laid

Hopefully the day will come

When the dark one comes undone

Until then it will become

A demigod, for it has won
