Angel's Dance

Angel's Dance

A Poem by EyesIceBlood

This is one of my spiritual poems, about my sinful nature and desire for forgiveness.

Angel's Dance

Beautified in every way

Incorruptible as night and day

I live a hollow life without you

Even after the trials I was put through

One last chance

Please give me an angel's dance

Knowing you were there by my side

I sit here and realize

No one but me is left to speak

How do I survive when I feel weak

Please let me hold your hand

Virtues slip between my fingers like sand

Not too long ago

You showed me an angel aglow

She spoke with a voice as fragile as glass

With a tone like wind through grass

Please give me something easier to grasp

I promise to hold it in my hands clasped

I know I have failed too many times

Maybe that is why I find solace in rhymes
