(3Flows)

A Poem by Juss
"

follow your perspective.

"
Indeed, many aspects of life are transparent
Tunnel vision awaits your divine
Glaring at options, juggling decisions
Trampling your ego & trusting your instincts
A free flow
Swiftly shaping irregular opinions
Slowly swaying facts, so dominant
Never seeing what is in front
Rather look back on what should've been done
A free flow, hold the freedom
...I crave to free my flow
The moment truth shed light
Pinching my shield, activation is alive
1 had broken promises
2 deceitful lies
Yet three had both along with foolish pride
There is much beauty in chaos
Eye am the beholder
I stepped in, blind but confident
More wise & bolder

You've created a gorgeous poem. That's the first thing that I'll say.

The first half made me feel as though life is kind of just a bunch of people aimlessly floating around, doing things that don't really hold any substance, accidentally contributing to a bigger picture that overall means nothing to them. And that could be someone's truth, and that's okay. But, with all of that said...

The second half of the poem showed me what seems to be your truth: you want control over the ability to enjoy your life without all of the expectations and obligations guiding you. You don't want to float around and have Life make decisions for you, but you want to float along with what I could call fate or something similar. At least that's what I got out of it. That's why I really enjoyed the lines "a free flow, hold the freedom / ...I crave to free my flow". It's a clever play on words that I can appreciate as both a reader and a writer. The last four lines stood out to me. They held a lot of power and inspired me to take a step back from my own life and see how much of it was formed merely out of habit and how much was created by chance and fate and my "free flow".

I can't wait to read more of your writing. It made me really FEEL something, and I absolutely love that. :) Thanks for sharing this. I think I needed to hear this message.
