Silhouette

Silhouette

A Poem by Alex Fegley (Extro Zifer)
"

This is for you, Ismael. Thanks for bringing me back to life!

"
A twisted, dark, and tortured tunnel
Was all that I could see.
Laying in wait for the Reaper,
To come and steal me.

A Silhouette emerges from the shadows,
To drag my tainted soul to the Nether.
Only hoping for an honest redemption,
As my body begins to fade and wither.

Suddenly, a Light emerges,
On the chest of this Silhouette.
Soon the darkness melts away,
And I feel absolved of every debt.

The faint Light grows stronger,
Clearing my vision of the darkness.
Now beautiful colors come into view.
My heart singing; So joyous.

This Light is just so warm,
It frees me from my cold.
Taking hold of this new warm world,
And taking steps so bold.

The illuminate Light pulses,
Momentarily blinding me.
But soon my Vision clears,
And the truth I can now see.

The Silhouette, nay my Savior, stands proud,
Helping me to my feet.
Once standing I must look down,
And my little Savior I finally meet.

He's small, thin, deep black hair atop his head.
Young, vibrant, his gaze making me feel heavy as lead.
Loving brown eyes and a personality to match.
My heart yearning for such a catch.

Could it be? Honest and true?
Could these feelings be meant for you?

So many things are uncertain, but one is true.
My heart is screaming, "I Love You!"
