Wrapped in the Arms of Harvest

Wrapped in the Arms of Harvest

A Poem by Exsanguination
"

stream-of-consciousness with an underlying meaning

"

Wrapped in the arms of harvest

Like so many alarms I’ve garnished

Yet far from alone and ardent

I pry from all art untarnished"

Hope, to remain in silence

Forever alone, unbridled

The passion, in ode"united

Licentious, redundant, divided

Pray to the bold uncommon

Nigh to behold intolerance

Made of the ones that flaunt us

For better or worse, undaunted

Exigent to the point of careless

Too much is a notion that perished

With fear of a stagnant merit

To consume what we inherit

Awesome couplets...the way melded your rhymes just flowed like a river. Superb stuff here.
