I knew pain and hurt.

You were suppose to change all that.

You made pain my best friend instead.

Made hurt there when I went to sleep and awoke.

Why me?

I think you sought me out,

Out for your wrong doing.

Did I really deserve your s**t

Or were you taking your pain out on me?

I did all I could

To make you want to stay.

But you left anyway

Then came back to play and left again.

I shed the tears you looked for.

I doubted myself like you hoped for.

I gave up on love like you worked towards

And I still hurt.

It's all okay though.

Someone's helping to put me back together.
