Kindred Entropic Nihilist

Kindred Entropic Nihilist

A Poem by ExposedSiren
"

If you're reading this, then I can feel you too. Wave to the moon for me.

"
Words whispered to you in the dark feel like cigarette smoke escaping my lips,
For you are a toxic habit that I need to quit.
You yourself are not poison,
But the pedestal I raise for you drips with it.

I am aware the addiction could ruin my life,
yet fixation is where I rest.
The disillusionment I get from your light
Just keeps me drawn...

A moth to a fire.

I want to be wanted more than I want to be achieved;
I want you to want me, more than I think you will ever see.
I want you to pull me,
More than I want to be free.

You make me hungry for something to deceive;
You make me yearn for lies to receive.

I can't reach you, unless you want me to.
I can't reach you, unless you want me, too.

I will never win your heart,
as you are a person, and not a prize.

I write letters I will never send,
because my words no longer matter.

I'll break bridges I cannot mend,
because it is easier than the latter.

I keep writing to you in the dark,
because my light is currently out,

and

I can't tell if I am hurting,
If I deserve it,
If it is made up,
If its perfect...

My soul just wants to be seen.
