Another Wish From a kid

I wrote this in High school, right after I turned 16...

Every star will fall someday,
Losing itself to become part of
Our unspoken wishes and dreams,
Sharing our sky and yet hanging onto the past,...
Somewhere between falling stars and my bedroom window
I know my dreams stand still,
Not affecting the actions of the earth
as it keeps spinning and turning,
Not waiting for my word or my "ready"...
Somewhere between my heaven and my hell
I know my wishes lie in waiting.
You wont see me on my knees,
You'll never see me praying...
Not me.
If you looked close enough you would see that
I run just to feel my heart beat,
To finally sit and feel something...
Somewhere in my own fantasy world,
My achievements are begging me to hurry,
Lest they can't wait and begin to leave me...
I am on my own, stuck with a
"Maybe..."
