Convergys, Genpact, BA, Amex, Teleperformance, IGT, Concentrix to name but a few. What do all these companies have in common apart from their outsourced operations here in India?

A culture of lies...fraud, disloyalty & actually quite irresponsible behaviour from the hiring team + HR department. Manipulation is encouraged & actively practised right from the outset of consultancies...

Candidates with foreign experience & qualifications, albeit graduates are discriminated against. HRs ask for visas despite people holding Indian nationality. Some proceed as far as to generate concocted documents attested by corrupt notary publics (lawyers who are commissioners of oath)...why? What purpose does this serve?

The western companies who have been greedy & foolish enough to blindly shift their operations in return for cheaper labour to capitalise on profit & reduce overheads need to think again. They're effectively kicking their own customers in the face - reality check please! BTW, this is an Indian's account of the situation, so no bias guaranteed...why else would one want to criticise their own country so much?

Worst of all, considering that most Indians lack basic telephone etiquette, they're certainly unsuitable for processes whereby they interact with foreign customers in a call centre environment!
