Hire Right...or wrong?A Story by OmHire Right - an international background verification organisation, relied upon by several companies as part of potential candidates' screening process.
So you've been offered a job...locally or perhaps abroad - great, surely nothing can go wrong, right? Unfortunately, when a verification vendor irrationally contacts the wrong company to verify if the candidate worked there, unsurprisingly, they receive a "negative response". What's worse is that such vendors are quite happy to report this as being correct to the employer. Needless to say, the candidate has the offer withdrawn & is subject to unnecessary defamation.
These vendors don't "hire right"...they end up disallowing hiring anyone! What a false economy & waste of resources, time & money! They harass the candidate, requesting further info in a serial manner for different domains, instead of asking whatever they'll end up checking anyway in the first place. This only protracts the process. Then they stealthily call your schools & colleges, despite assuring you that they're satisfied with the genuine original documentation that you've already submitted. Apparently, they probe into your past to an unwarranted level. Take a look at their reviews online...time wasters to be honest, don't you think? Yes, I'm sure they are supposed to catch potentially untruthful candidates who may pose a risk to the organisation they're applying for. However, how can anyone expect them to accurately screen people when they label even genuine candidates as being potential liars? The word incompetent springs to mind... © 2016 OmAuthor's Note
