Delhi's inability to supply clean water

A brief report into Delhi Jal Board's repeat failures to supply sufficient & safe water to the capital

Time & time again, we all have had water supply shortage in our homes, offices & colleges...or the drinking water runs yellow & foul smelling...over the years, the situation has worsened, particularly during extended droughts. The problem is partly related to Delhi's surprising lack of natural resources to fulfil its demand...sourcing water from the likes of Harayana for instance...however, also the mismanagement of resource allocation & poor forward planning with measures in place such as reserves to avoid such incidents

Perhaps the water authority needs to be privatised as well, just as BSES improved the power situation for everyone's electricity?
