NAMESA Poem by DrDYou went by so many different names I no longer know what to call you Some say I should call you obsession And others assure me you were fate But I have always called you love And I don’t think I can use another name.
Maybe you were a mysterious teacher Instructing me how love should be known If so I was the best of students For I have thought of you only once since then Only once and nothing more, just once One thought from that last day that has never ended
And I welcomed you with opened arms Convinced your true name was forever And everything was you and me, us and we Until I lost myself in the wonder of it all While I learned words . . . alone and lonely And spend my days pondering on your name © 2014 DrDReviews
