We make up a fake world, an illusion

Everything under the sun, we know none

The ego is all but a spiritual intrusion

The moment we realize, we are all one

is the moment we realize, peace is our only hope

the moment we realize, that we should not shun

we will know, we will know that love, love is on every slope

when we find it, and try to hold onto it, and not reflection

soon we will realize that, every thing, everything to ever exist or happen

is all perception, we can change ourselves if we work together,

this is radical, but it necessary, love everyone as brothers, make it happen.

i like your spirit Jen, and i too believe we should unite and be better humans, but no one is ready to do that. The name of this poem is "the moment we realize", i fear we may never realize, Wesley Carter says this world is an illusion, one in which if we never wake up from would turn into a reality.

I think there are many many who realize and are ready. I am..Wesley is..you are. You see a lot of people sayin..No, Wes you are wrong buddy. I have faith in my fellow human to be as well intended as me. I think there are infinitely more out there that want a better existence and reality..peace and would choose to unify rather than difersify. Think its proof positive that er one is not completely apethetic and you see them uniting for wgatever cause they believe would initiate this realization..we may think each others choices in that are the wrong ones. That is irrelevant. Too many see the few, that minority. Our media focuses on it and we, you eat it up. The choice to believe in others what lies in ourselves is one of humility. The choice to see ourselves less capable, one of vanity and ego.

Enjoy talking with you A, you are much kinder and more open minded than your initial comments often reflect.
I always make an effort to find the positive in a piece i read and make that clear instead of looking purely judgemental. If i have a criticism, it is said constructively and with thought and logic.to back it up. I feel great support for my fellow artist..try, though i have failed, to say things in a respectful way in which i would want to be treated.

The reality in this piece is a logical, feasable one if done as he is suggesting. If we wake up..do it this way..we have unlimited potential. That is a clear linear logical progression. The statement "no one is ready" is entirely flawed. Its simply untrue. I am perfectly clear on the meaning in this piece. The song landslide is mostly about looking around and seeing destruction. And realizing changes through love and open eyes are needed

Arnold in Da Vincis life he started a architectual project of something that could not possibly be done..he had faith in the unity of others that it could. Took a couple huuundred years..and it was completed. Thats a f*****g miricle of the unity of minds! Anything can be achieved.

I like your sentiment, I am somewhat optimistic, yet, at the same time, jaded. An awkward combination. Being pessimistic, and realistic, in today's world could go hand in hand. That being one end of the spectrum. The other is that we are optimistic and that is what I would like to shoot for, because change has to happen in the heart (metaphorically) before it can shape our world, and sometimes it takes one heart to inspire others, sometimes more. I'll stay positive, but never ignore suffering and corruption. Thank you all for the reviews.

Thats bein peagmatic darlin..which i think this piece can be. Its not out of the scope of reality and common sense to understand that if we unify and try we hold tighter focus on grand ambitions. Even if that ambition is peace. This piece is logical and rational...i find it refreshing. Get tired of world doon and gloom. Not any more realistic than this...i still see more good in humanity around me as a whole. If that werent true...wed all be run amuk lol
