Perch

Perch

A Poem by Red Brick Keshner

`

this is my mountain

the highest of places
a vantage point without peer
the peak of both
clarity and confusion

sometimes it is a dizzying height
where wings flutter in the wind
ready to swoop
with inked talons

other times it is yours.

Wow those claws look sharp, let that be a warning. I like the idea of being on the mountain top and seeing all below with such clarity. These days I seem to be in a fog. A poem which has multi meanings. That's how I like poetry to be. Well penned Freds.
