Evening Prayer

Evening Prayer

A Poem by Red Brick Keshner

Away,
fly and float in the drifts.

Go,
brandish the hilt and strike
against a cloudless sky.

Back
in the shadows, whisper.

Come
forward to hear better.

Leave
your shoes on; come
Alone -
is where yesterday hid
Today.
