The Hidden Path

The Hidden Path

A Poem by Red Brick Keshner

A small road, untouched by human hands,

Unveiled only to those who truly see,

A lane for butterflies and buzzing bees,

Their secret journey through nature's tapestry.

If it leads somewhere, who can really say?

I just sigh, knowing its end’s beyond reach,

This unseen path, no ride will take me there,

A wanderer’s thoroughfare, always calling me.

there are NOT enough of those small roads left...too much humanness intruding with our structures going up every second.

I long for those unseen paths like I used to trek in Vermont in my youth.
