of thunder and fire

of thunder and fire

A Poem by Red Brick Keshner

if we stretched out rumpled sheets
sunlight opalescent shades shape

there on an open square
each step without a care
a wan smile through thundrin’ pain
each flash unrolls a stumbling’ stain

moonlight polishes over every scrape
if we struck out in utter defeat

Crumpled or rumpled sheets laid out in a square. Been there and done that. That’s the writing process for ya. Painful it can be. More so if you haven’t got a laptop Freds. Have a good weekend.
