I couldn’t do the infidelity thing, it’s too stressful, the upheaval, the hurt, the betrayal, the shame all over a fling. No thanks, just wouldn’t feel right. Don’t know how they do it but they do. The demands from one woman to have a happy life is enough.

Many marriages start out like a new car. For a while it's one's pride and joy, and nothing else can touch it. Five years down the road though, it may arouse less than ecstatic feelings. That's when eyes start to wander and other possibilities are considered. That's when actions are taken that may result in a lifetime of regrets. Some seem not to care.

I think the fact is that we are human. I suppose if we didn't have expectations, there would be no disappointments. Still, when we are fully invested; and someone else is not, it is defeating. On the other hand, sometimes, when we expect the worst, the best happens. Life is unpredictable and fickle as the wind.

That is so true Linda! The greater the expectation the greater the disappointment. And a mismatched relational investment is wearisome for both sides. And yet there are random surprises that could delight. Such is life! Thanks kindly.

Many an overcast day has burned off due to the heat and pressure from above. I think that inside maybe, sometimes, could be that the pressure comes, still from above but just a wee bit slow. We pay the collection plate after the fact when the nickels and dimes have already been counted. This was very clever and creatively presented. Nicely done.

Oh yes, there is a pressure indeed. I remember after counting my savings to out in an extra penny or nickel whichever would round off so the end figure would be a solid rounded number. Thanks Will.
