yesteryearning

yesteryearning

A Poem by Red Brick Keshner

.

can there but a moment be
when regret and lapsed
opportunity cease;

let them meld into Magellanic folds
this haze of yester-yearning and
permit such sweet agony

of bliss to arise,
soft tendrils that caress
once fond recollection, free

Good morning Freds,
I read a couple of your poems this past week… hope you got my reviews?
This one is quite interesting….
Moving forward with out looking behind…a quest many of us make… but so hard to do… memories have a way of creeping up and engulfing us.
Enjoyed your use of words with so much hidden meaning behind them.

Beautifully expressed Freds. I for one would be sorry if yesteryearning was obliterated. It is a great source of inspiration when it comes to poetry. Liked this read very much. A good morning from the UK.
