Preview: Leafs Verses Stars - Tonight 8:30 p.m.

A preview of tonight's Toronto/Dallas game

The Dallas Stars are starting the second half of the 2016-17 season with a win under their belt.

The Stars defeated the Buffalo Sabres 4-3 last Thursday. 

As for the Leafs, Washington defeated Toronto 2-1 last Thursday.

However, Dallas is struggling, especially with their goal tending and defense.  The team has allowed 156 goals this season.

The Leafs just allowed 127 goals this year.

Dallas's overall record is mediocre (20-20-16).  However, the Star's home record is quite good, 13-7-6.  That possibly is going to give the Leafs trouble tonight.  The fact that Dallas plays better at home.

The Leaf's have a record of 6-3-1 in their last ten games.  The Stars record in the last 10 games is 4-2-2.  The difference in both records gives Toronto the edge.
