Rumour Mill: Trade Talk For Bishop Continue To Heat Up

Now that the All-Star break is over, it is back to business for the National Hockey League.

This means trade rumours are starting to heat up again, especially for Tampa Bay Lightning's goalie Ben Bishop.

Right now the Lightning are out of playoff contention. Bishop quite possibly be on the chopping block if Tampa is out of (playoff) contention a month from now.

Sportsnet's hockey analyst, Elliotte Friedman thinks the Dallas Stars and St. Louis Blues probably are going to pursue Bishop.

Friedman also mentioned the Philadelphia Flyers as a candidate. However, Friedman doesn't think the Flyers are in the market for a net minder. Friedman went on to say that Philadelphia probably use Bishop as an rental goaltender if the team traded for him anyway.

Friedman thinks trade rumours, involving Bishop, are going to appear more and more for the rest of the year.

I'm anxious to see where Bishop ends up.
