Cousin Peter

Cousin Peter

A Poem by Ewen A Morrison
"

Our cousin Peter, 'Pete', to friends and family!

"
Our cousin Peter, known as 'Pete',
From childhood times I've known,
Artwork is wonderfully replete;
Art-practising... in fine renown!

Many times, would happily  draw,
More than sketching would bloom,
Eventually, new Paintings we saw;
From canvas work to boards soon.

His family-gift: large ply art-board -
he could explain Medium he'd used...
Artist inspired piece "one to hoard";
certainly for prizing... never abused.

Artists thread our family's scheme,
by expressing well in paints/words:
(arts of cooking, Paint and Rhyme);
please enjoy and thank your 'Lords'.

Well done, Ewen. We should thank the Lord for the gifts he has bestowed, whether as artist in paints, or words, or music. We should appreciate what we have and recognize others talents as well.
A good write.
