Bruce's Alison

Bruce's Alison

A Poem by Ewen A Morrison
"

Alison's nickname for me is 'Bruce' - so Bruce wrote her a poem!

"

Bruce's Alison

Our dear Alison Cameron Glameron,

have charmed and delighted, pet...

hear-tell you've reached thirty-one;

as fine girl, on earth " no one'll get!

The interested gentlemen should hear,

before they seek your hand, sweet girl;

you are engaged to your Craig, our dear;

your wedding banner shall high unfurl!

At your ceremony, we'll surely celebrate:

sincere wishes come from all and 'Bruce' -

contentedly cheering, certainly all relate;

some are happy and sad: you're not loose!

Eternal best, Bruce and your family x
