Earthlings

Earthlings

A Poem by Ewen A Morrison
"

Global thoughts.

"

Earthlings

Earthlings, all shapes & hue -

whatever part, land or sea...

wonderful…as I am & you;

Cosmos-Creatures, we be.

Our globe a speck, like dust -

in numbers, beyond measure...

Earhlings do all live there, just;

wonderful and great treasure!

We're 'Green', we often claim -

protest often, and marching...

caring for Planet, we claim;

praying, keenly searching!

Technical progress, we do praise -

our development vends high cost...

worried by 'waste', we may raise;

of this balance, just can't boast!

Amen
