Suffocate

Suffocate

A Poem by E.V. Black
"

From all around, the pressure impends.

"

From all around,

the pressure impends.

Closing in.

Killing me.

No matter what I do

or think,

I can’t escape

my fate.

Who will aid me?

I’m helpless.

Still, I suffocate.

There was a point earlier this year when I had too many classes on my shoulders. So, I dropped one and it made me feel so much better than I had before.

Eve where have you been, I will as many here aid you help shoulder your burden and give you space to breath. Missed you and your poetry but I see the absence has not dulled the edge of your quill as this is raw and beautiful, keep em' coming
