RemovedA Poem by E.V. BlackAll that seemed true is but a shadow compared to that vision.I thought I knew what I wanted. To be someone great! To be apart of history itself. Then, something slid across my vision. I deemed myself false and wanted that thing.
All that seemed true is but a shadow compared to that vision. It removed me and left in its absence an aching wake that pines for its presence. Was I meant to be a weak fool? Is this a mirage?
To remove me from passion takes great power. Surely, I rest under the thing’s power. Its alluring song renders logic mute and entrances my senses. Only this is what I want. © 2011 E.V. BlackAuthor's Note
