Touch You

Touch You

A Poem by E.V. Black
"

How could I not touch you?

"

How could I not

touch you?

For all the breath

you have stolen,

I still wish

to breathe into you.

Such beauty before me,

so dark and yet light.

These feelings brim

and I must reciprocate.

I like your abstract writing style.
You articulate the obvious so well as you tenderly withdraw emotions from your readers.
Bravo!

Wow can I relate to this... We all know how I love the short powerful poems and this one may be short but it says so much. How could I not touch you? That line alone is just so strong with emotions. Great job E.V.

For all the breath
you have stolen,
I still wish
to breathe into you.

always tastes better the second time around, for what is a kiss if not second hand breaths already warmed by our lovers bodies.
Beautiful thought and perfectly expressed, keep em' coming
