Dread to Them

Dread to Them

A Poem by E.V. Black

Dread to them.

They can tell me what to do,

and I have to deal with it.

Annoyance creeps up

behind me like a black cat

in a dark room.

I will myself to be calm.

Dread to them,

to all who annoy me so.

Dread to all who

dare bug me.

Dread to those

whom I despise.

Author's Note

E.V. Black
An old poem. Severely edited because I didn't care much for the original. I tended to go on back then because many poetical phrases popped into my head at the same time.
