Writer's Eye

Writer's Eye

A Poem by E.V. Black
"

Here, with my attuned writer’s eyes, I see everything.

"

Here, with my attuned

writer’s eyes,

I see everything.

Beside my faithful companion,

a black and tan coonhound,

I sit and observe the world.

More than ever

I see things

I was blind to before.

Every sound,

every detail,

is richer now than

it ever was before.

Like the faucet that is

my black and tan

dripping all over me!

I love this.

I love everything I see.

How could I have not

seen it all before?

Life is beautiful,

and I am glad

not to have missed it.

Lazing underneath the tree in the front yard, beside my sweet girl Samantha. We just watched the world go by. :D
