Part Ways

I cried into my hands,

feeling the tears fall free.

Such a big softy, I said.

That’s what I am.

And then I laughed

and you laughed

as you hugged me to you.

 

Time has passed too quickly.

I’m afraid that

I’ll never see you again.

That thought

breaks my heart.

That’s why I cry.

Having you here, my friend,

hugging me seems

too ephemeral.

But I know that

we’ll have to part ways

eventually.

Just think of me, okay?

And I’ll see you soon!

I've accepted the fact that my friends' leaving me is inevitable. Time passes too quickly, doesn't it? One moment you don't think about having to leave, the next you're doing just that. I thought I had so much time. Now it's all gone. x3

This is very beautiful and so depressing. You have done a lovely job putting every emotion you have felt into a piece of art such as this
