Simple

Love is simpler than it seems.

Open the packaging

of a new relationship

and read the directions

it comes with.

That’s all that

has to be done.

Jump in headfirst and

put together the structure.

Build the blocks of trust,

of interest and affection.

It seems complicated,

all that work.

 

But stand back and admire.

It wasn’t so hard after all.

Love was very simple.
