Notebook

A forgotten notebook.

There it lies

in the bus parking lot.

Abandoned. Forgotten.

Pages opened for

the entire world to read

its story.

 

What is there to read?

Its pages are blank,

unloved and unwritten in.

Its visage,

once noble to behold,

is now torn and disheveled

from the thousands of shoes

mercilessly trampling

over its body.

Left behind.

The notebook’s story

will never be written.

This is a great poem. For some reason...It reminds me of a Deathnote from a anime I watch. "In the bus parking lot. Abandoned. Forgotten" I love it. :)

Kind of an interesting subject and how it can be twisted and turned into something one wants to read about or be interpreted into something completely different the abandoment of a person. Very good write E.V. for a story about a notebook I sure took alot from it. xo
