An Eclipse (of Wuthering Heights)A Poem by E.V. BlackThey were too stubborn to admit their feelings.Envying me. You wouldn’t be envying me. It’s incomprehensible and all you can do is grieve for me. We both cried but didn’t believe in each other’s tears. Don’t you hear? The truth is I love you.
But these proud hearts of ours are too passionately wound up in themselves. While I love you, I hate you. Only time can reveal your true appearance.
And, by then, I might be dead. © 2011 E.V. BlackAuthor's Note
